Job Vacancy – Content Creator 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Content Creator to work alongside our sales and media team to produce informative product related productions. Your point of contact will be the Commercial Director regarding your day-to-day tasks, and the Media Manager regarding the technical side of video production.

We have a huge range of diverse products at Nash Tackle that appeal to a wide audience of Carp anglers and we are looking for a candidate with a ‘get up and go’ attitude to display those products to our retailers and customers in short form video.

The role is primarily home based, but with requirement for regular attendance at our Essex office.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collecting products from stock and taking them out into the field to create informative product videos
  • Editing those videos into simple, informative and digestible product videos for our customer base and retailers
  • Exporting the content for suitability on the Nash website, YouTube and tablet
  • Occasionally assisting in other tasks assigned to the media team e.g. studio photography

Essential Attributes

  • A great working knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience with both DSLR and mirror-less cameras for both video and photo work
  • An eye for detail
  • A true passion for video production with a great experience of video editing
  • A show reel demonstrating production examples
  • Strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • A full UK driver’s license

Desirable Attributes

  • Photo editing skills, particularly Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
  • An educational background in video production
  • Knowledge of our product range
  • An interest and knowledge in fishing / carp fishing
  • Previous sales experience

 

Job Vacancy – NashBait Purchasing Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to work as part of a small team, with experience in procurement. This position is based full time at our Essex office.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Optimise stock levels and monitor stock movements, working with our stock controllers
  • Analyse data, including stock turns, seasonality and margins
  • Work with Sales and Commercial colleagues to work from sales forecasts
  • Negotiate and agree prices and shipping schedules with suppliers
  • Plan seasonal stock inputs and new range changes

Essential Attributes

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Stock Control or Purchasing
  • Knowledge of / experience using a demand planning, forecasting or planning tool
  • Proficient in Excel and other MS applications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent analytical brain, with solid communication and organisational skills

Desirable Attributes

  • An interest and knowledge in fishing / carp fishing
  • Experience in recipe formulation and costings
