Broadlands fishery in Southampton host The Nash fishery Roadshow on the weekend of 18th and 19th September. Broadlands fishery has become a very popular venue on the carp fishing scene in recent years , and will once again be holding the final of the BCAC this coming weekend. The reason for this is mainly due to it's impressive stock of around 1700 carp averaging 15lb along with several fish over the twenty pound mark with the biggest currently around the 37lb mark.
All in all a perfect venue for a Nash Fishery Roadshow where are team will be on hand to offer you the chance to fish alongside them and catch some of the magnificent stock as well as learning from the best in the business and gaining some valueable tips and advice. As well as this there will be casting demo's , a variety of competitions as well as bait making and rig tying demo's throughout the weekend.
Memebers of the Nash team that will be present throughout the weekend include : Kirsten Wiley , Dave Fuidge , Simon Stobie , Mike Hall to name but a few with more being named everyday.

The increasingly popular Nash Fishery Roadshow team will be showing off the latest in Nash Tackle and Bait as well as competitions, demonstrations , and Q+A Sessions with members of the Nash Team and loads more. Not only can you view the 2010 tackle and bait range but also test the products for yourself as well as learning from some of the best in the business.

Here is a run down of what there is to see and do :

The opportunity to meet on the bank, in real life fishing situations, with some of UKs greatest big carp catchers. Use their tackle and ask them the questions you have always wanted answered
– these lads are there to help you guys out. Who knows, you might
even bag a chunk on their rods!!

* Numerous talks, seminars, slide shows, demonstrations and advice
from the anglers in the know. A great opportunity to ask any
question or queries you may have relating to your fishing –
specific talks on casting, spodding, rigs, bait, fish safety,
stalking and floater fishing plus loads more

* Full range of Nash Tackle, Bait and Terminal Tackle that you can
get your hands on, use, experiment with, test, cast, throw, set up
and try. It gives you the visitor the opportunity to really see
what Nash has on offer whilst out on the bank.

* Dedicated junior area that encourages youngsters to understand
carp fishing especially watercraft and tactics. There will be bait
talks, rig tying sessions and plenty of opportunities to ask
questions you may have – there will be numerous small prizes for
different activities over the course of the show in the dedicated
junior area

* Regular competitions, games and raffles throughout the shows that
allows the visitor to go head to head with different anglers
competing in things like spodding, setting up bivvies, rig tying
etc – if you can beat the competition there are some great prices
to be won – there are some excellent prizes in the raffles too
including weeks fishing in France and a day out fishing with top
Nash consultants.

* Bivvy Food – The Nash trained chef will run through some simple,
top quality, recipes that can be knocked up on the bank and not
look out of place in a Michelin star restaurant.

* Dedicated coarse fishing area that highlights different methods
including pole fishing, feeder/method fishing and float fishing –
please come and have and have a go at fishing – ideal for young
children.

* Dedicated Nash retailer allowing you to purchase the latest
products in the 2010 range
