Charity Fishing Matches

In association with Orchid Male Cancer Appeal

Carping for Cancer is a Carp Fishing charity that organises carp fishing matches at some of the UK’s top venues, to raise money for Orchid Cancer Appeal. Orchid exists to save men's lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers through pioneering research and promoting awareness.

To enter a match you must sign-up to Carping for Cancer by visiting our website and sending us a message via the ‘Contact Us’ page.

When we hear from you we will then request a few details and a picture that we will use to build your profile page. Once this is done you are a full member and will have a place reserved at all future matches.

To enter a match you will be required to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship, usually £100. Sponsor forms are provided, along with full details of the match via the website and email several weeks before the events

Prizes donated by the leading UK Carp Bait/Tackle suppliers and Fisheries are awarded in the following categories:

1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd,4^th, 5^th Prize – To the person(s) who catch the highest weight of carp during the match
Bonus Prize – To the person who raises the most amount of sponsorship money
Biggest Fish of the Weekend

There may also be an auction depending on availability of suitable items.
