Lake/swim details/species For about five months me and my dad have been going fishing every weekend, we stay over for two nights. We have been to a number of different places but on the weekend beginning Friday 19th June we decided to go to our local canal.
None of us had a catch all Friday night or Saturday day/night, but on Sunday just before we packed up to head home I caught a 29lb Common Carp!

More information I was delighted with my catch but also shocked as the fish was huge and I never thought I would catch one that big. My dad was made up for me and said it really made his fathers day!
